Does your location have a high ceiling?
If your ceiling is higher than 2.4m, then you may want to consider also purchasing a longer downrod to bring the ceiling fan lower to be more effective.

What's a downrod?
Downrods are also known as extension poles / rods, droppers, and the 'metal pipe thingy' that connects the fan to the ceiling.

What length downrod do I need?
The Louvre includes a 15cm long downrod suitable for standard height ceilings.

As a rough guide,
2.4 to 3.6m - 90cm downrod
3.6 to 5m - 1.8m downrod
5+m - multiple downrods joined by couplers.

So, for example, if your ceiling height is 4m (11ft) then you should consider a 90cm length downrod.

Oh and don't worry if you choose a downrod that's too long - they can always be shortened by your electrician when the fans are installed.

Our ceiling fans come as standard with a pull chain that can be used to turn it OFF/ON and control the speed. In the event that you do not like the look of the pull chain, or if you’d prefer to manage your fan from a three-speed wall control or a remote control, please select one of our optional controls.

Three-speed Wall Controller
Our three-speed wall controller consists of a rotary dial mechanism and fan speed controller. These are ready to be integrated with your existing faceplates. Our standard wall controller is electrician-friendly as it can be used with wall plates from major brands such as Clipsal and HPM.

Remote Control for dimmable lights
This remote control can be used to control ceiling fans with regular incandescent light bulbs. These remotes can support the ability to and allows you to dim the lights to adjust the lighting output.

Remote Control for non-dimmable lights
If you want to use energy-saving compact fluorescent light bulbs, these are not suitable for dimming. For this reason, the non-dimmable remote control is recommended.

Our remote controls include a handheld remote control transmitter and receiver unit. The receiver unit is the component attached directly to your ceiling fan and allows the remote control to interact with the fan. This allows operation of your fan at three speeds: High, Medium and Low.
